I have taught across many platforms in my varied career. I started my career as a primary school teacher specialising in SATs and 11 plus exams, particularly in maths. I then retrained to become a secondary GCSE Maths teacher. I have worked in many international schools too.
I am currently a college lecturer, Teaching GCSE and Functional skills maths.
I have a fantastic success rate both in a college setting as well as on an individual basis.
I have achieved an excellent pass rate both with students in a class setting as well as students on an individual one yo one or group setting.
I will begin by assessing the students yo work out their learning gaps. We will work together on intensive sessions to plug these gaps from basic working to securing understanding through to building a strong foundation, in each area of the curriculum. This will be followed by practicing exam style questions and ways to answer these.
By the end of the tutorial sessions, the students grow in confidence and become secure in performing and achieving, allowing them to secure the required grades.
I have been teaching for 10 years now both nationally and internationally. Working with students from a variety of backgrounds and needs which are all catered for in my sessions. My training and working environment have allowed me to achieve this. My students learn using a number of methods that are suitable to them. The programme I will provide will be tailored to their specific needs in order to achieve the best results.
