I like to teach with the use of practical examples. This allows students to remember and understand complex theories with ease.
Connecting concepts to things students already understand or familar with, is another way that I use to make complicated topics easier to understand.

For example,
When learning about Entropy students will learn that particals in a system will have a random distribution of energy.
Since it is difficult for some students to understand this, we can ask them to imagine how students scored in their last chemistry test. And ask them to notice the distribution of marks.
Some may have obtained extremely low or extremely high marks.
The majority scored average marks.
Similarly particles in a system will also have their energies distributed randomly to match a distribution curve that you will observe when talking about chemistry test scores.

Apart from my teaching experience, I have extensive experience in the lab. I conduct a video series on how GCE advanced level chemistry practicals are done.
