I will use drawings, graphs, and other visual tools to help students fully understand each topic.
For complex problems I will go step-by-step, but will ask what the next steps should be before carrying on, this way, students can learn to structure solutions without feeling overwhelmed as they will learn to spot the next steps involved.
I can relate maths to real world scenarios and show its worth by focusing on students interests like video game math, or sports statistics making learning more engaging and memorable.
I will let student attempt problems first and provide feedback after they finish each step and focus on the thought process involved.
