I believe that the selection of teaching methods must take into account not only the nature of the subject matter but also how students learn. As a tutor my job is to help the students to learn to question, debate and explore in order to acquire a deeper understanding of the subject matter. I use appropriate questions to focus students’ attention, stimulate their thinking, and check for understanding
