The lesson format I use is, first I would ask what topic the student would like to cover. I also do not mind covering more than one topic in one session. Then I will start off with some basic questions so I can get an understanding of what their level is at. After this I will then go through example questions with the student and we will do the questions together so I can explain the way to approach the questions and while we do this I will also explain the topic via the questions. At the end of the lesson I will then give them 5 minutes to do some more harder questions of their own to see if they have understood. I shall also ask them if they have further questions or if i need to give them more explanation then I will do.
I have experience with teaching in an arabic school and have found it a very rewarding time. It made me learn how to be patient and calm while teaching and it also made me realise how amazing teaching children is as we can shape them to be who they are. I believe being kind and positive toward students is the best way to get their engagement and understanding. I aim for providing joyful and hard-working sessions to my students and believe the students will get the best outcome possible from my sessions.
I like to have interactive fun sessions, we don’t want studying to be boring!!
