Biology is often seen as a subject which requires huge amount of remembering and cramming up of information. I do not support this notion. My classes are never a monologue with one teacher uttering facts and students merely remembering it. Instead, I believe in the concept of discussion based learning. Concepts should be questioned, facts tested and alternate ideas discussed. I provide more than textbook knowledge and reasoning for biological concepts. My teaching methodologies have evolved over the last 6 years with feedbacks and each successive batch I have taught at Secondary school and University level.
