I have experience in teaching a child. My best way to teach is through the use of presentations, which will include aims for every lessons, activities that the student will need to complete and past papers as well. All these will help in learning and understanding the lesson. A relevant video will also be shown to the student for a better understanding.
Students will also be tested after every lesson with a short quiz which will help them remember what they have learnt throughout the lessons. If a student has any difficulties with understanding topics on any topic, I will take more time to focus on that specific topic and make sure that they are comfortable and understanding the topics before the end of the lessons. I will also answer any questions regarding the subject, asking questions would be encouraged so that I can get rid of any confusions that they may have. Communicating is key for a tutor-student relationship. This will make me understand the student well and ways I could help them with any concerns and as well as helping the students achieve what they want to achieve.
Homework will not be given every lesson, but it will entirely depend on the students achievements and efforts during lesson times.
I am determined and a motivated individual. I love to help people in different ways as people have different ways to learn things.
I will make sure that my lessons are not too much of a burden for the students as I believe mental health is important!!
