I have taught over 150+ students.
The most effective and efficient approach is to relate the concepts to the real world situations. This method helps the students to understand the concepts and tell them how they can use it in their day to day activities.
I always take time to prepare my class and take notes if needed and that helps me to remember what we can do next or how can we make it more productive and better for my students.
I always have time to students so that they can solve the problems on their own but if they needed help they can always ask me without any hesitation.
Also, I make sure to check my pace with my students so that we both are on same page.
I always make sure to make the session very engaging with the help of some activities.
I make sure the efforts put into the session by my students even if it’s little is acknowledged so that my students can feel confident.
I make sure to praise on the efforts not on the correct answer.
I encourage my students to speak more and tell me how they solve problems and ask them to explain me step by step.
I tried to avoid open ended questions just to make sure the students are not diverted from their answers.
I make sure to ask a recap question about our last session so that I can make sure they understand and remember also.
Before ending the session I make sure to my students summarize the session.
