I have 10 years of teaching experience in English both online and abroad mainly with adults and University/College students. I taught throughout China at various institutions. I have taught: oral, listening and speaking, Business English, and IELTS (International English Language Testing System).

My methodology is centred around the natural Communicative approach focusing on relevant and practical English used in real-life scenarios rather than the conscious study of grammar. The aim is to keep in mind the student’s interests thereby building a positive rapport, maximizing learner self-confidence, and reduction of stress. Lessons include the study of: comprehension, case studies, role plays, debates, trivia, quizzes, analogies, proverbs, idioms and many more. Critical thinking exercises encompassing discussions and conversations allow my students to broaden their minds with a healthy dose of reasoning and skepticism. I also lighten the mood with trivia and games.
