I studied both French and Spanish to A-Level and to degree level at the University of Kent where I achieved a high 2:1. I informally tutored throughout university and found it best to plan lessons with my students in order to figure out how they learn best and how I can help them to achieve their goals.

If you are a student, we will go through your curriculum and figure out if there’s a topic you want to focus on more (for example when I did my A-Levels, we studied social issues and literary and film works). We can also focus on skills such as writing, speaking, and translation.

If you are an adult leaner, I will help you learn all the basics necessary including general conversation and grammar. I also find that it’s easier to learn a language when you know more about the countries or the Spanish-speaking/french-speaking countries, so more than happy to teach you about linguistic differences. We can also cover social issues in various countries as well as food, music, and films!

I like teaching and love seeing people achieve their goals. Languages hold a very special place in my heart so I enjoy seeing people continue to learn languages or even pick up a new one!

I’m located in Loughton and am happy to travel within 5 miles of there and meet in a public location, or at your own home if you’re comfortable with that! I’m also happy to teach you online if that’s easier for you!
