Teaching Philosophy:
As I can speak from my own personal experience, growing up I found certain concepts very difficult and sometimes impossible to understand based on the teacher and their explanation, so I certainly understand why some students struggle the way they do. I believe that every student can excel with the right guidance and personalised teaching strategies. My approach is to tailor each session to suit individual learning styles, using a blend of visual aids, practical examples, and clear explanations to simplify complex concepts. Once the fundamental concept is grasped, I will develop their understanding by systematically increasing the difficulty on the topic questions and frequently practising so that they develop the skill.
I understand the pivotal role that GCSEs play in a student's academic and professional future. Recognising their importance, I am dedicated to providing each student with the most thorough and effective preparation possible. To achieve this, I have developed resources designed to maximise learning outcomes and track progress. Central to my approach is the use of progress trackers, which are instrumental in monitoring a student’s advancement through the curriculum. These trackers are updated regularly to reflect the student's progress of each topic, highlighting areas of strength and those needing further attention. This systematic tracking helps in setting clear, achievable targets for each session, ensuring that every student has a path toward reaching their desired grade. This tailored approach allows the student to comprehend the topic at hand in the most optimal way that they would understand it and master it.
