I am a third year university student at UCL studying Mathematical Computation. At A Level I was able to achieve an A* and A in Maths and Further Maths respectively as well as tutoring friends in sixth form in both subjects. I have a vested interest in mathematics which has lead me to pursue a career in data science for which I have worked on many projects that involve a deep understanding of complex mathematical concepts. We will conduct our sessions over zoom where I will share my screen as we work through the topics and questions together. I'd prefer specific topics and/or questions be sent a few days prior to the session so I have time to create a more structured lesson plan and have the sessions run smoothly. Each lesson we will first go over the content of the given topic to get a good grasp on the fundamental concepts after which I will provide some exam questions for us to work through to ensure the new knowledge can be put into practice. The lesson structure can, however, vary based on the student's preferences and areas in which they struggle or the stage of learning they are currently in (e.g. preparing for exams). The student should not feel worried about how much knowledge they're going into the session with as we will adjust the session to best fit the student's current level of understanding. We can cover any part of A Level Maths and Further Maths regardless of exam board.
