Hello! I am a Computer Science student at the University of Bath. I teach GCSE and A level Mathematics online, having achieved all 9s at GCSE, and A*AAA in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Further Mathematics respectively. I have experience in tutoring secondary school students and am very familiar with what is required from current GCSE and A Level Maths students in exams.

I am incredibly diligent and committed to your education - my lessons will be interactive and fine-tuned to what you need. I'll start by giving an overview of the topic, before giving examples and question walkthroughs. I'll then give questions and ask you to explain your thought process aloud - this helps me understand where you are struggling. Using analogies and previously taught information, I can explain complex topics with ease in a variety of different ways. Following the very first lesson, I will arrange a timeline of what topics we will cover when, giving students reassurance that the entire years content will be covered.

Later sessions will include analysis of past papers in preparation for the real exam - I can help you understand if you are losing marks due to time pressure, stress, or issues in topics. Being a student myself, I can completely understand the anxiety that comes with preparing for GCSEs and A levels, and and prepare you accordingly.

My absolute priority is for students to feel self-assured in their Maths ability, and the first step to achieve this is to foster a positive learning environment - I will never shout or be frustrated with students and always welcome any questions regarding Maths, exam stress, revision, etc.
