I have been a Maths Teacher for 4 years and understand how important it is to not only learn maths in a fun way, but to also develop strategies for memorising it. The school day is packed with so much, and you are learning so many different topics at once, that it can feel overwhelming, so during our sessions we could work together to figure out what topics you have a good grasp on, and which ones you need to review and practise further.
We would start with a 10 minute 'skills check' to revise key topics that you should have studied in school, depending on what school year you are currently in. Then, I will give you a list of topics that is on the school curriculum and you can give them a 'Red/Amber/Green' rating. This way, we can figure out which topics we need to review in each session.
Every 6 weeks, if you are a GCSE student, we will look through a past exam paper to practise your problem solving skills.
Additionally, if there is anything that you have been taught in school that week that you wish to go over, just let me know! I want you to be the leader of your own learning!
