Rachael - Experienced Guitar And Ukulele Teacher, Patient, Encouraging And Beginner Friendly!

Hello, my name is Rachael. I've been teaching Classical and Acoustic Guitar for over 25 years in schools and privately at my home to both adults and children five years and upwards. My teaching journey began as a 6th former continuing on throughout my Music degree (1st study Guitar) at Kingston University. After my teaching qualification (PGCE), I taught secondary class music and then became a full-time peripatetic Guitar Teacher. Since then I have worked in schools across three counties delivering one to one and small group lessons to children in years 1 to 13 and also online. I teach my students how to read music notation and my beginners enjoy learning the basics through a wide variety of styles. I have entered hundreds of pupils for grades over many years with excellent results. Many of my students enjoy learning to play their favourite chart songs.
I teach adults of all ages and children from 5 years upwards and have daytime availability for online Guitar or Ukulele lessons whether you're a complete beginner or honing your skills. I will work with you as an individual, your passions, your goals and your pace. Learning guitar or ukulele is a great way of adding something creative into your life, so have a go!
I also offer 30 minute lessons on both Guitar and Ukulele which can be better for children and those with limited time.
The number one priority for me is to make my lessons FUN!!
