I have been teaching English in a semi-professional capacity for over 2 years. My lessons are individually tailored to each student based on their language competency and school/work requirements.

Lessons for adults are mainly focused on the basics of English (grammar, syntax, basic vocabulary building) as well as conversational English in the workplace. Alternatively, for adults who are looking to take the IELTS or TOEFL proficiency exam, I am able to offer lessons and guidance on how to do well during the written and spoken test.

If you are interested in having a tutor to improve your English for work or just to improve your conversational skills, I will be able to help as well. Lessons will be informal and light-hearted, and back-and-forth communication is encouraged!

As a bonus, Mandarin is my mother tongue so I will be able to assist and communicate with native Mandarin speakers better.

For Primary/Secondary school students, I have experience teaching students who are taking their SATs equivalent (PSLEs) and GCSE/GCE exams. The exam system I am familiar with is the Singapore PSLE and GCE 'O' Levels qualification, which is largely similar to SATs and GCSE qualifications in the UK.
