I start with an overview of the topic to be covered. Then I review any background information needed to understand the topic. I ask the students a few questions to get a better idea about their knowledge and understanding of the topic. Then I go through the lesson plan. Finally I conclude the session by summarizing the important topics covered during the session. I ask the students if they have any questions or need clarification about the subject matter.
I also suggest any additional reading materials that can help them with their learning.
