I like to teach using past papers, mark schemes and exemplars; from the 21 hours of GCSE and A-Level English lessons I have taught, I can say from experience that, this method helps tailor students' exam skills in the best way. However, I recognise that this is not suitable for all students, and so, I am open to teach in any way they wish.
The length of lessons I teach are normally an hour long, but this depends completely on the student and on what they would like to cover in the lesson; as some tasks take longer to complete.
I believe my qualifications for this role are more than adequate - I obtained a grade 8 and an A*, in GCSE and A-Level English Literature, respectively. Both of which achievements supported my journey into acceptance into medical school.
