I believe in commitment, dedication, perseverance, and hard work. I also believe that by learning a foreign language, people can boost their mobility, but most importantly, they can deepen their insights into the world around them, their culture, their personalities, and most innermost preferences. It is many a time by contrast that we learn these intricacies that have always been there, but we just couldn't see.
I love to help students get to this point in their lives because by doing that, they will be achieving maturity, mindfulness, and purpose. Moreover, I devote my days to educating people because I truly believe that education can transform their lives and change the world we live in, and it can make me more humble.
As a teacher, I see myself rather as a facilitator than an instructor, which does not mean that I forget about the knowledge-sharing part, lesson follow-up, and reinforcements. Instead, I mainly focus on creating appropriate language environments for learning to take place. I prefer to work on projects because they provide purpose and meaning. Also, I am a fan of CLIL, which means that I believe that learning a foreign language through other subjects can not only widely enlarge pupils' vocabulary spectrum, but can immerse them in real-world settings while acquiring a second language.
I am very flexible, but very demanding too in terms of language accuracy and practice. Furthermore, I have been in a fairly wide array of teaching contexts, including schools, language schools, businesses, and homes. This journey has helped me to turn myself into a more cooperative, tolerant, and inclusive person and teacher.
