My method is varied, it depends how the individual learns most effectively. I use flash cards and ordinary day to day materials and subjects. The subjects can include,
family, food, weather and festivals.
I also use games for learning which can be fun and doesn’t seem like learning.
I usually assess what the student has learned so far before i decide what level of learning they should begin with.
I would look at the alphabets to find out what the individual has achieved so far with confidence. I usually look at pronunciation and simple sentences at the beginning to find out where the next step will take us. I also review learning each time before we move on to the next step.
I also test my students regularly which may include spelling, simple writing and speaking.
I also allow rewards for good understanding and learning relating to effective progress.
My aim is to always willing to help my students to achieve their potential of learning.
I always let them know what we will be doing and why. I am able to explain everything to their understanding as best as possible.
They can ask me about anything they need help with at any time. I remind them that my time is their time for their benefits. I have patience towards their learning and will repeat something and everything regarding their learning.
Finally, my satisfaction reflects their effective achievement. They will be in a position to share this with their family and those close to them.
