I am an experienced secondary Maths teacher with over 20 years of in school experience at all levels and abilities. I challenge my students to be confident in their approach to problem solving in maths because with confidence comes resilience and ultimately success. I believe everyone can do maths with the right support.
My track record in tutoring has verified this as all my tutees either meet or exceed their school's minimum target grade, with over 80% exceeding.
My students are taken from the known to the unknown topics in a step by step approach where they are comfortable to make their mistakes along the way. I also help my students to develop the growth mindset which I strongly believe in myself. As a teacher I am convinced that any student can achieve anything they put their mind to.
Students learn differently so I use the individual approach to ensure that all students can access the work at hand. I have in the past and continue to enjoy seeing my students achieve excellent results, even beyond their target grades. There is no reason why you can't do the same.
