I've got a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. Been a tutor for a year. My teaching methodology involves breaking down the topics into simpler steps which enables the students assimilate faster and giving opportunity for questions to ensure my students have a proper understanding of the topic. Then through hands on labs or exercises by the end of each lesson, I provide constructive feedback as regards their performance in the exercises.
