I'm Prerna, a final-year medical student at the University of Nottingham.
I have taught many students GCSE and A-Level Maths and Biology (CIE, Edexcel, and OCR) for the past 7 years. In addition, I have been part of several medical societies, trained prospective medical students in Mock MMIs, and taught medical students in the ENT Society, Clinical Skills Society, and Islamic Medics Society. I am also part of the Phoenix Project, which is a charity that teaches OET (similar to IELTS) and PLAB to refugee doctors so that they can practice medicine in the UK, and have been teaching OET for the past 3 years.
My teaching style is variable and dependent on the student. It is highly objective-driven, i.e. focus of each task is directly aimed to benefit the student to reach their goals. Student well-being is my utmost priority and feedback is regularly asked for to ensure the student receives the best teaching. I also have experience teaching those with special needs.
