Hello, my name is Precious and I would like to major in English Lit after Secondary school. As a young student, I can relate and help younger children or even people my age develop their English analysis skills. My teaching methods would include using examples that would suit the tutee's understanding, giving them minimal research homework for them to complete for the next session, and giving them mini pop quizzes to help the tutees memorize the content they're learning. I work in the Pomodoro technique to help the tutees learn without feeling overwhelmed by all the work. Depending on the student's level of understanding of the subject, I will introduce a word of the day, which would be based on the subject we will be covering during the session. The tutee can receive points when they use the 'Word of the Day in a sentence appropriately. The pop quizzes also provide points when the tutee gets more than half of the questions correct. After the tutee has gained a certain amount of points, they will be rewarded gifts tailored to their favor at my expense. This allows them to want to get answers right and study more willingly, rather than seemingly "working for nothing" as they sometimes believe. I have a passion for working with children and would be delighted to take on your child/ren for the small price of £15 per hour. Prices can be negotiated for younger children. I would also like to use this oppertunity to better myself as an English Lit student and to give me more experience for future jobs that i may want to pursue.
