I am a former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and currently run my own business specializing in bookkeeping, accounting, corporate events and business coaching. I have been involved in teaching, training, workshopping and coaching for more than a decade.

My lessons follow a given curriculum and at each lesson:-
1. The introduction of a topic,
2. The student shares their knowledge/understanding of the same,
3. Teaching of a concept, followed by an example,
4. Then the student shares their clear more informed understanding of the topic,
5. Student given an opportunity to ask any questions of clarity to solidify understanding.
5. Then more examples as necessary - to also assist address any issues of further clarity,
6. A test of knowledge - can be written or discussed.
7. Then some practice work to do after the lesson

I prefer to have an interactive lesson as much as possible as it is through this approach that I am able to determine the depth of a student's knowledge or lack thereof.
