MY EXPERIENCE: I'm an A level student studying maths. During my time of studying A level maths I was able to volunteer to tutor people struggling in maths. I am young which has only been an advantage for me because I am constantly studying maths A level and have a fresh understanding of the GCSE content. I am also able to teach in a way that is approachable, understandable and interactive for GCSE students.

FIRST SESSION I will start off by getting to know the students strengths and weaknesses, start off with a few maths practice questions that have a broad range of topics so that I can really get a feel of what topic areas the student struggles in the most. From there I will be able to schedule a lesson plan and teach each topic and also set some practice questions to complete inside and outside of the lesson. Practice is very important with maths in order to hold the information and with practice everything will come naturally. The student is also able to come to me with any concerns or anything from school that doesn't make sense and I will go over that topic. The student will even have a chance to get ahead of the class and anything learned in school will be extra practice.

One on one tutoring will also help the student grasp things quicker as the learning is tailored specifically to them rather than a whole class. In classes they often go over theory and history that does not enhance knowledge of maths and will not be tested in Maths. I will go over direct knowledge that is needed to pass and get a high grade in GCSE maths.

I am available for more than one session a week and on a scheduled basis.
