Prashanth Bharathi

I am a BSc Discrete Mathematics graduate from Warwick University with a good basis in Maths, Computer Science and the Natural Sciences. I have 4 years of experience in tutoring both Maths and Science up to GCSE Level. I also have a year's experience as a Computer Science Academic Mentor in a Secondary School, which involved small group teaching with Year 13s as well as working with KS2 and 4 students. I have also assisted teachers with year 10 and 11 classes at my college at higher and lower sets.

I have no qualms about taking the responsibility of my pupils’ learning as I was the student chancellor at my college. Having lived in India for 6 years, an understanding of different cultures allowed me to teach English to refugees with the STAR society at my university. I’ve also taken part in the Young Leader Scheme with the Oadby Scouts so I can handle teaching Primary school students as well. Although my passion for the sciences stems from my appreciation for the clear-cut nature of logic and maths in general, I understand the sensitivity and patience required to impart this knowledge to younger students. I hope to inspire my students to learn with the same spark for knowledge that I have.

I additionally offer assistance with writing Personal Statements and Entrance Exams for maths students. I have helped students get into Russel Group Universities across the country. I offer a half price trial lesson to students and personalised plans for each student
