I use a multitude of teaching techniques during my tutoring session, all of which have been backed by scientific research to be prooven methods to study, remember, and apply the required knowledge.
The first session will be used as a taster, to see where the tutee is currently at in the subject, and their personal thoughts and attitute towards it.
We can then move forwards from there to construct a detailed plan to help first grow the natural inclination to go forward with studying the subject, and then to tackle the areas where the tutee would need the most help in.
Some of the studying and revision techniques used would be:
- Active recall
- Spaces repetition
- Practice past papers
