I teach a one hour class online via Zoom. At the end of each lesson we will discuss what topics the student and I believe needs more work/ explanations. I will then prepare a personalised booklet with revision content and practice questions for that topic and email across before our next lesson. The student can then print it out / use a device to access the booklet, and we will go through the key learning points and practice questions together in our lesson. Once I think the student is equipped to start attempting exams, we will go through past papers together and I will provide expert advice on exam technique. My lessons are fun, interactive and I encourage lots of questions. There really is no such thing as a “silly question”, that’s the way students improve. I get the most out of my students because I myself am I student at University and understand maths can be difficult/ perceived as boring. But together in my lessons we will break things down, create techniques for remembering things and develop good maths practice, to make maths more fun whilst improving. All my students have increased their grades. My booklets for each maths topic get great reviews as they include revision guide screenshots, exam practice on specific topics, top tips, and are a great keep sake to come back to after the lessons for revision.
