Poliana Orlandi

My name is Poliana, I am originally from a small city in Brazil. Currently living in London while I complete my MA Policy Studies in Education at University College London.

I have more than 9 years of experience in the education field, thought those years I have worked as teacher for English as a foreign language in a private school and as a history teacher in public schools.
I have experience working with kids as young as five and adults well into their sixties. And I am passionate about education and its transformative power.

I believe in planning tutoring lessons around the students interests and, in a situation or problem solving based methodology, but I would be open to listen and mold the lesson is a way that works for everybody involved.


In the last few years, I have worked with teachers trainning and education project management, so I am up to date in different strategies and on what materials and methods are being written about in the field.

I love listening to music, reading fantasy books, watching tv shows and movies. And if that's something that would help you, I would love to incorporate it on our lessons.

Learning is a lifelong process, and I would be honored to be part of your, I am easy going and love to meet new people and enganging in new challeges.
