The most effective way of teaching is through the use of previous assessment and learning exam-technique. It is often that students do not read the questions correctly and analyse the information provided to them to score a maximum number of marks available. I like to use PowerPoint to deliver the theory of a topic and then consolidate the learning and apply new knowledge to past-paper questions. Learning outside of the classroom is just as important, to transfer learning into long-term memory therefore tasks between session will be set. Learning is centred around the student therefore the pupil should have an idea of the structure of their course and the areas of the course they find more challenging.
