The lessons will start with any questions the student may have, and if I think necessary I will change my lesson plan for the question in hand. If the questions are quick I will go on to teach a topic. After this I will give the students questions I would have prepared that help the student with the understanding of the concept. In my time of teaching maths, I have seen that practice of the topics is more important than the teaching, once students understand how to answer questions, the next step is now applying this concept to more difficult questions. This is what helped me get my high grades, as well as everyone I have tutored.
This is just a simple plan of how a lesson will go, this can be tailored to the students needs in any way the parents or students feel necessary, and of course, homework will be set that must be completed. Finally, I will set tests at random points through the year to help me understand where the student will need more work.
