I commenced my commitment to the profession of Teaching English in 2017 when I seized the chance to tutor teenagers in English Grammar towards their target of flying colors in the National University Entrance Exam. Throughout my university, I have undertaken some types of jobs as an English teaching assistant and English teacher. I spent three years teaching part-time at two English centers where I realized that teaching is my aspiration and strength. Throughout my university time, I was full of admiration for my lecturers’ dedication and the inspiration they were imparting on students, contributing to my consistency in doing teaching jobs. My sheer determination to embrace the teaching career has been strengthened since my full-time teaching at FPT school right after my graduation in 2021. I have been educating primary and secondary school students as well as being charged with the duty of preparing materials and activities, identifying students with special requirements then creating individualized plans, evaluating students’ classwork and assignments. As an English teacher who meets students of diverse interests and abilities and works with experienced colleagues, I have been able to expand my pedagogical knowledge and further develop critical thinking skills, communication skills, problem-solving skills and time-management skills.
