I aim to firstly listen to my students concerns about specific topics on the subject and what they personally feel they need to work/improve on. I will tailor my lessons to these areas and talk through subject related content. This will also involve students carrying out exam style questions in times conditions and working through answers to see where improvements can be made. At the end of each lesson, I will ask in advance for any additional subjects the student would like to cover and prepare resources in advance for our next session.
