Phoebe Carter

Hi! My name is Phoebe and I am an undergraduate biology student. I would love to be your tutor to, not only improve your grades, but also to improve my communication skills (as I would like to be a teacher one day). My lessons will be engaging and fun. I aim to make all of my students interested in biology and make drastic improvements to their grades. As I have carried on with this subject into further education, I have some real life experiences and much more time in the lab to aid my teaching.

In my lessons, I will include lots of diagrams as well as key definitions as I believe visual learning can help so much in biology. I have access to an iPad and so I am able to do live diagrams and demonstrations for my students. I will also use exam style and past paper questions for revision with my students as I find understanding exam structure a vital part of studying a subject. If my student has any text books for their course I can use images of the pages to help them understand anything they may have been shown at school.

I can help my students with exam preparation prior to exam periods. I make printable or downloadable content and resources which I can provide to my students for use in and out of my tutorials.

I aim to ease anxiety around school and hope that I can answer any questions about biology or school in general my students might have.
