I am able to tailor a lesson to an individual. I am happy to look through work given to the pupil to understand the methods taught at school, and adapt these where necessary. I try to keep lessons as fun as possible whilst ensuring a positive learning experience.

Content wise, I can follow the contents of the exam syllabus and focus on areas requested by the client. I aim to complete lots of examples as to consolidate the skills learnt. I encourage clear workings as this is what examiners look for.

I was a Student of St Catherines School Bramely so I have a strong education background and have picked up on many of the techniques used there and try to implement this in my teaching process.

I don't have a huge history of tutoring - mainly helping my younger brother who struggled more with Maths - He achieved an A* at GCSE and an A at A-level.

I work well with children, having taught on multiple sailing camps where both theory and practical knowledge is taught so I know how to engage with a younger student, explaining fairly complex ideas (eg how a sail works)
