Bilingual in Chinese and English, I have over ten years of experience tutoring one-to-one and and groups. A natural linguist with an international background myself, I am happy working with students who are from a variety of nationalities and backgrounds.

With great attention to detail and accuracy coupled with endless patience, warmth and humour, I am interested in creating confidence and assurance in my students, developing their natural abilities and helping them to achieve their goals within a given timeframe.

I always aim to structure our lessons with specific objectives to be achieved. With constant input and feedback from my students, I make adjustments to my lesson plans to ensure that lesson content is always relevant, interesting and engaging.

Language is a multi-faceted skill that is best acquired using learning techniques that work well for you specifically. Every student has a different learning profile and characteristics. My aim is to accompany and guide each of my students on their learning journey, helping them to discover and hone their optimal learning techniques, whilst developing a lifelong passion for the Chinese language in the process.
