About me

I am able to provide French tutoring in person, online or via WhatsApp on a one-to-one basis. After 18 years EFL teaching in Europe, Africa and the Middle East I have become fluent in French and maintain it on a monthly online basis in a French literature group.

I am able to provide French tutoring in person, online or via WhatsApp on a one-to-one basis. After 18 years EFL teaching in Europe, Africa and the Middle East I have become fluent in French and maintain it on a monthly online basis in a French literature group.

I am able to offer commercial French having studied in a French business school for 1 year (ESCG) and worked in a Grenoble-based medical devices US multinational. I subsequently worked for 23 years as a sales manager and business development manager throughout Europe, the Middle East and Latin America.

I can also handle scientific and technical level French texts and discussion due to my chemistry degree.

I have set up an ESOL programme for refugees and asylum seekers in east Lancashire where we teach a course that takes our students from Pre-entry to Entry 2 levels. We emphasise oral skills and practical every day vocabulary so that our students can communicate in everyday situations. The lessons are structured, fun and practical - and produce great results.
