I’ve been lucky to teach in a variety of environments for nearly 25 years, the last 5 teaching English as a foreign language in Luxembourg primarily for Inlingua but also as a private tutor. Prior to that I taught Hospitality in Hotel schools with my main focus being on the culinary side.
I have had the pleasure of teaching English to students from all over the world. I have taught children as young as 4 and adults as old as 70 and love the interaction you get from your students. Whether a student is a beginner or at C1 level students are always eager to improve and build on their knowledge. By finding out about my student's interests I’m able to develop a course that fits their learning needs, while keeping the classes as enjoyable as possible. Using different multimedia helps with this but I believe the key is to get the learner to speak as much as possible while building their grammar and vocabulary.
