I am encouraging, enthusiastic and passionate about music and I have always found that people of all ages sense this and respond accordingly. My great experience has led me to believe that every human being is different and need to be treated as such to get the best results. I follow a fairly standard system of teaching technique based on what I have learnt from my own teachers. After that I will take people in whatever direction they want to go but they must show enthusiasm and they must practice otherwise it becomes a one-way street using lessons as expensive practice time. If they are prepared to put in the work then we become a team and we can achieve anything we set our minds to. I also respect their own opinions and am willing to discuss and pass on my own experience in order to expand their grasp of the subject and develop the most efficient and artistic performance techniques.i am also a composer and orchestration/arrangement specialist, I find that many people in this day and age are happy to use computer software to write. I can help with this as well.
