My teaching style changes for each student. However, I tend to make up or adapt my own materials, and use zoom and PowerPoint. I use oral drills to help with pronunciation. I set up a google folder for all my students. This gives you access to the materials we have used during the lesson, which enables you to practice after the lesson.

It also allows you to upload files that you want me to look over for you.

If appropriate we can use task-based activities and role-play.

To make lessons interesting I usually use topics that you are interested in.

Being a native speaker, of course I have experience in making conversation, and I teach conversational English!
I’m also a trained public speaker, so I can help you learn how to control your nerves.

I’m very patient with my students and can help them develop confidence in using English in their daily life. I’m teaching on Preply and have many five-star reviews.

I usually do not teach grammar, in a 50-minute session (as most TEFL teachers do), instead, I break it up into 20-30-minute sections and then go on to another activity. This enables you to learn the grammar, but not be overwhelmed by the complexities of the English language!

At this moment In time, I’m concentrating on teaching English levels A1-B2, and I’m NOT currently doing sole exam practice. I’m happy to teach English to an exam standard, but not lessons just for exam practice.
