I was once in a state where I struggled with maths. My teacher was not explaining anything and I was just learning how to do maths without knowing why I was doing what I was doing. Luckily, I was later taught by a teacher who knew everything he was doing. He explained everything to me and ensured I could deepen my knowledge on maths. I then proceeded to get a 9 in GCSE maths and an A* in my recent A-level mock for Maths and Further maths.
I plan to also teach you the same way, where you know exactly what you are doing. There is no point learning maths when you don’t know the reason for it. We may exceed your curriculum and I want students that are willing to learn. I do not care about your mathematical ability at this time, my job is to give you the push for you to exceed your current self and get the top grades.
In every lesson, I will teach you 2 or 3 topics thoroughly and give you questions where you must do it at home because we only have a short time together. Obviously, I am available to contact if you have any questions. I want our lessons to be fun and productive at the same time so please try your best.
I have taught my younger siblings maths and they have both been completely surprised by how simple maths is once you understand the meaning behind it all. I hope I can open your eyes in the same way!
