Experience: I have over 20 years of teaching maths and related courses. I first taught in a police children school back in Nigeria in 1999 were I taught arithmetic to kids. They all enjoyed the classes. Ever since I derive joy to unlock the potential of my students. For example, I taught Mr Emmanuel Agu sciences (maths inclusive), He is currently a medical student. I help secondary students to develop love for maths and to succeed in it.
Qualities - I am passionate and dedicated with a very strong ability to mentain a relaxed/friendly atmosphere that enable my students to learn better and faster.
I am very patient with my students as I know that maths can be challenging so i give the needed suppor/guide for each step.
I also deploy creative teaching methods to make learning memorable .
Some of my teaching methods include:
Interactive approach where I encourage active participation that deepens the understanding of my students.
I also try to connect the relevance of mathematics with the real world so that students will appreciate the applicability of the course and not see mathematics as vague
I also allow students to give personalized and constructive feedback of my performance so as to ensure continous growth and development.
