As an experienced tutor for the National tutoring program I have several years of experience tutoring using various online platforms. In general I will start by setting a small “test” which we will use to implement a personalised approach to your sessions. This “test” will demonstrate both weakness and strengths and from this we can work together to ensure the strengths stay strong and the weak areas improve , hence the overall grade will improve.

I prefer a structured approach and together we will devise a plan to ensure that we cover all weakness identified, we will also work on key skills such as familiarity with past paper questions, how to tackle them, what the examiners are looking for and how to ensure we score top marks on each question.

My preferred platform is hey hi , this is at no additional cost to the students. It is specifically designed for mathematics, all videos are recorded and can be played back at anytime by the student, all slides used including notes are instantly emailed at the end of each session.

My goal is to help your child improve in his/her knowledge and overall grade in Mathematics.

The setting of homework tasks is at the discretion of parents, I am happy to set questions / tasks to ensure consolidation of material learned during each session , although I am mindful of the volume of homework from schools , and so I leave this decision to both student and parent. Feedback is provided to students during and after each session, feedback to parents is provided on a fortnightly basis.
