I have had over 5 years experience teaching young children and teenagers mainly. I thrive in technical subjects mainly maths. I use different teaching modalities that might involve the integration of music, art other fun activities to motivate my students.

The choice of teaching modality is contingent on the student’s learning style. This means that I take my time to develop a student profile so that whatever method I use aligns with their style of learning. Some students prefer and are fit for accelerated learning while others are not. In that regard, I take it my responsibility to understand the intellectual capacity of each student.

I do employ a feedback system whereby I follow up on students’ progress to monitor their performance and ability to retain knowledge. In doing so, I am able to note down the student’s progress which helps in determining whether lessons need to be modified in any way. In summary, I take the student’s journey personally. Their success is my success.
