I taught A level biology in sixth form colleges for over 30 years.
Lessons focus on developing a thorough knowledge of key concepts along with thorough underpinnings in exam technique.

My extensive knowledge of biology was used in writing A level text books, and in work as a senior examiner. I can quickly develop critical understanding of biology using modelling, analogy and links between concepts to embed thorough understanding.

I like to use Q and A to get to understanding where any misinterpretation might be in the way and have a huge selection of effective learning resources developed over the years.

I explore with students a range of methods related to bringing understanding into successful completion of examinations. My students tell me I inspire them to have a passion for biological thinking.
