My goal is always to unlock each student's unique potential by tailoring each lesson to fit the student's needs. This is always done while building a friendly, kind and warm atmosphere! The target is always to allow students to become completely independent in their skills and learning. Although, most of my students are preparing for examinations, I have also worked with adults and young people looking to build a new hobby.

My lessons tend to be skill focused, whether that is building performance skills, aural skills or your music reading. I am familiar with ABRSM and Trinity grades and can guarantee the support needed to do your best working towards these goals. I often organise performance opportunities for students so that they become more comfortable and ready to meet challenges in their music journey.

Music is a key part of life and it is important for students to appreciate it and to be inspired by it. I often try to organise for students to view performances, whether jazz, classical or contemporary. I also network with other teachers and musicians of an incredibly high calibre so you can ensure that you are joining a community of professional musicians where your needs will be met!
