Online lessons are conducted via Skype. This provides the tutee with an excellent online experience and makes the sharing of files very quick and easy. Generally, I will cover topics in theory and then provide a very large number of past paper questions, these, in most cases, are supplied with the mark scheme immediately following the question.
I have now been tutoring for many years and have enjoyed an excellent relationship with tutees both with face to face and online formats. Although initially sceptical about the prospect of online tuition, since the advent of COVID, I have become a true convert. Lessons are at least as effective providing the tutor is sufficiently prepared. I am fortunate in that throughout my teaching career I have collected high quality digital resources. Current tutees are very satisfied with the online lessons they receive with most indicating they are of a better standard that those lessons they receive in school.
