As a 'polymath' I have taught students in many subjects from Year 3 to Year 12 and adults in various settings.

Although my main teaching was in the secondary sector, as teacher of Geography and Geology to GCSE and A level, I also have experience in Peer Mentoring and have qualifications in Adult Teaching & Learning. My main teaching at present is Foundation and Higher GCSE Maths plus a recent retake class. I also have a student taking IGCSE. I am familiar with all the current syllabi in the various subjects I teach.

I like to make lessons endurable, and hopefully enjoyable. The aims of the lesson are set out and hopefully achieved.
I am a kind and friendly person and expect that of my students.

Whilst I expect a disciplined approach to learning, I am able to work at the appropriate level for the student.

Homework is given at a sensible level and I always review it at the start of the next lesson.

If you do not enjoy learning the teacher is at fault. I hope that you would never be able to say that of my lessons.
Some might be hard but we work at it together.
