Pete Drayton

My name is Pete Drayton, I am a fully-qualified primary school teacher with over eight year's teaching experience across the world! I use a combination of Google Classroom, Slides, Jamboards, Padlets, Blookets and Kahoots! to create meaningful and engaging resources to present lessons and provide access, and copies, to slides for revision and referring back to. I also provide a range of further home-learning opportunities for you to consolidate your learning.

I have experience in developing lessons around the topics you are interested in, be it Harry Potter or Octonauts. I have created schemes of work to teach a range of subjects science, English and even Math around these topics so please do let me know your interests and hobbies as well as your academic requirements so I can develop lessons which you are truly engaged in and motivated to learn! I have experience teaching both and group sessions so can create a learning experience whereby you feel confident in expressing and sharing your ideas. I am an experienced communicator and teacher and will move at your pace as well as creating a learning environment where you feel confident in communicating and participating to get the most out of every lesson!

I will start each lesson with some pre-teaching/learning of any vocabulary we may encounter during our lesson so you can practice before hand. The lesson will start with a quick starter game/activity before moving onto the main element of the lesson. Each lesson will end with an online game/quiz to consolidate and review what we have discussed!
